What we do
Samvad Samajik Sansthan is driven by a profound desire to initiate dialogue within communities, encouraging them to organize and elevate their awareness and knowledge regarding their rights and the means to attain them. While the community has begun responding to these initiatives, Samvad recognizes that much work remains in the realms of education, health, nutrition, livelihood, and the empowerment of Dalits and women.
Samvad emphasizes the importance of instilling within communities the understanding that, like individuals striving for personal development, collective advancement requires concerted efforts. True development is synonymous with the community’s self-development, but achieving this necessitates sincere and ongoing dialogue. Engagement between the government, stakeholders, and the community, and vice versa, is imperative for development.
To facilitate this dialogue and capacity-building, Samvad is implementing a series of initiatives including public hearings, social audits, street plays, and advocacy efforts aimed at addressing the needs of marginalized sections of society such as women, children, and Dalits.
